Growing up, my family’s first computer was a 486 Packard Bell with MS-DOS 6 and Windows 3.11. We had an NES, an SNES, and a Genesis for consoles. In the late 90s, I discovered console emulation and became interested in collecting what is now known as abandonware. In 2014, I rediscovered an interest in Commodore 64 and Amiga emulation, which led me to purchase those respective computers.
“68k” comes from the Motorola 68000, which powered computers such as the Amiga and Macintosh, as well as the Sega Genesis. However, games and hardware for those platforms are thoroughly documented on the internet. This website assumes a broader scope and documents the more obscure pieces from my collection, such as Theatrix Interactive’s software library.
